Experience the magic of Lucia in Kayak 2023 at Kayak Bar! Join our unique Santa Lucia parade, where beautifully decorated kayaks light up Copenhagen’s canals in the winter darkness. Participate either in a kayak or as a spectator on the sidelines – everyone is welcome! It is possible to rent a kayak from us but you need to be an experienced kayakker.

17:00 – Our Choir starts singing by the dock before take from Kayak Republic / Kayak Bar. We have thereafter 5 stops with Christmas carol singing with a large choir singing from a canal boat.

17:15 – 1. stop with singing at Nyhavn

17:45 – 2. stop with singing at Christianshavn

18:10 – 3. stop with singing at BLOX

18:30 – 4. stop with singing at Højbro Plads

18:45 – 5. stop with singing at Kayak Republic and Kayak Bar

Before and after the kayak tour, we gather at the Kayak Bar for a cozy evening with hot drinks, delicious food and a lovely Christmas atmosphere. It is possible to order Bouillabaisse for after the kayak tour, starting from 19:00. Our historic waterfront location provides a unique backdrop for this event. As founders of the Lucia in Kayak parade, Kayak Bar hosts this wonderful tradition that unites water and culture.

Ubatuba is back at Kayak Bar for the Winter Jazz Festival!

Come and enjoy world-class Brazilian jazz with some of the country’s best musicians. Ubatuba is a band that pays tribute to Brazilian music with their own compositions and a few Brazilian standards. The members of the band each have a great fondness for Brazilian music and enjoy great inspiration from it.
